Rent Flaten station

Book our beautiful and carefully restored station in Flaten, between Virserum and Målilla.

Since 2018, the association has purchased and restored Flaten station, along the Smalspåret railway on the Virserum-Gårdveda-Hultsfred route.

The house was in a dilapidated state and the garden overgrown, but after many hours of renovation and restoration, both the station house and the land next to it have been carefully restored to their 1960s glory days.

About the station

The waiting room and platform/magazine are part of the business where we rent out dressings, while the apartment itself is separate from this and can be rented weekly both in summer and winter. The property has fibre with 100/100 mbit/s.

2 bedrooms

The upper floor consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each (90cm). On the ground floor there is a sofa bed that allows a total of 5 people to stay overnight.

Kitchen

The kitchen has space for cooking and a dining table for four people. If you are more people, there is also a dining group in one of the living rooms.

Bathroom

The bathroom is of a more modern style with plastic carpet, shower and toilet. There is also an outhouse if you want to try how it was in the past.

Living room/family room

There are 3 living rooms, one of which has a sofa bed for 1 person. In the other rooms there is dining room furniture, sofa group etc.
