The success of the autumn train comes back, on Saturday 27th SeptemberThe ostalgite trains along the Smalspåret offer a beautiful landscape in the autumn colours. At stations and other places we stop and look at beautiful scenery, This is a unique opportunity to take photographs and learn more about the railway and the history of the area. The accompanying guide tells you about places we pass and the history of the railway.
You can get on and off the train at the stations along the way, tickets are sold on board the train. We also offer a coffee service on board the train.
New for 2014: Author and son of Virserum Stig-Åke Petersson invites you to a "city walk" from the station to the church, while Stig-Åke tells you about the houses we pass - both those that are still there and those that have disappeared. Gathering at 14.00 in the waiting room, Virserum station.
