Member number 1000 has been passed! Congratulations to Marie from Vimmerby and a warm welcome to the association!
In the current situation, the "award ceremony" had to be limited somewhat, so the painting was handed over directly by the artist Åke Lindberg, at a safe distance. In addition to the personally painted painting, there was also a copy of the fine book Railway pictures 6 and a almanac for 2021!
We asked Marie how she became a member and what memories she associates with Smalspåret, you can read the whole interview in the next issue of Narrow gauge railway. The connection to the railway began with my first train journeys to my grandmother, where it was a bus to Hultsfred and then a rail bus the last bit to my grandmother.
